so incredidlbly frustrated w UHC

I have United healthcare community plan. I also have an undiagnosed severe allergic reaction I have been battling for the last nine months because no doctor will listen to me, I have to jump through their hoops with their agendas. On one of my hoop jumping appointments I went to a lymphedema specialist who wrapped my legs with compression bandages. Before she wrapped them with the bandages she applied a lotion which caused an extreme reaction. when I took my bandages off my left leg was throbbing with pain and little red splotches… within three hours I puffed up huge and needed to go to the emergency room immediately. I was admitted into the hospital and treated for cellulitis. my leg got a little better but not what you would expect for being elevated for four days on an IV drip and this is because it is an allergic reaction not an infection. I have since then seen A vascular Doctor Who finally referred me to an allergist.

The problem is I just opened my mail and United healthcare denied my hospital bill for “the lump on my leg and not having enough information.”

I am extremely upset and irritated how can they deny my claim?? why is there not enough information to make a decision? Why do I have to jump through more hoops? Does anyone have any advice for slam dunking an appeal?

sorry in advance for any grammatical errors I am on talk to text and I’m too irritated to go back and fix it
