Care team say I need acute rehab. Referral done. Rehab facility medically accepted me.
United Healthcare denied insurance without a peer to peer review. Appeal also denied without the requested peer to peer review. Dragged their feet enough that it seems like the referral will need to be redone.
What can I do differently this time around to make sure I get the care I need?
