I just started my own company of three people, and the advice given to us by more than one insurance broker was: get non-ACA short term plans for cheap (GoldenRule, Freedom Life, etc.) If something bad happens to anyone in the company, you can setup an ACA group plan at any time as a safety net with whatever coverage you need. I pretty much refuse to believe this, but tell me why I’m right 🙂
