Good afternoon.
I (25F) am going to be dropped from my parents health insurance in October. Honestly, I don’t know a lot about health insurance and I could use some help selecting a plan through my workplace. Here is a summary of each of my choices. A few notes that may impact things:
-I will only be working at this company until April/May 2022
-Only the bronze plan offers an HSA. My company pays 4.00/per hour of work toward my HSA if I select the eligible plan. Essentially, every 40 hour workweek, they would deposit 160 bucks into it and so on. the money is paid into my 401k if I select a healthcare plan that doesn’t offer an HSA.
-I am generally healthy and normally only see the doctor during my yearly female exam. The only emergency I’ve ever experienced is appendicitis, which resulted in my appendix being removed a couple years ago. No regular meds.
