Hi all. I am going to lose state insurance for my kids due to increased income. I am worried about it because both kids have challenges. I have these options: Blue Shield PPO (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).
I just don’t get the whole deductible / co-pay / specialty co-pay / 80, 90, etc. percent hospital stays. It’s a lot to wade through.
One kid needs ABA services for autism weekly could be $1,200/week and occupational therapy / speech. If I have a deductible do I pay the whole deductible first or just the $35/specialty visit co-pay?
Can someone please break it down Barney style for me? I really appreciate your help.
