Hello there, I was wondering if someone has an advice for me. So my situation with health insurance just got a bit complicated. I am currently under my mom’s insurance which is for lower income families. She claimed me as a dependent this year since I am currently not working, and I am 22 and just graduated from college a month ago, (I wasn’t working either while I was in school). Then, I got married in July and my husband does not qualify as low income. But I am not sure if I am supposed to apply with my mom for the insurance or with my husband. The thing is that my husband and I just moved in together after getting married, and we did not do taxes together either since I was depending on my parents. My husband is now moving to another state because of work, and I will stay in California until I start grad school so I will still be CA resident, but my husband obviously doesn’t qualify for the CA programs. Should I just continue on applying as my mom’s dependent ?
