Hi all,
This is sort of just a general question… I am a medical social work student and I’m trying to make sense of an interview I’m using for a project. In it the gentleman is asked his critique of our current healthcare/ insurance systems, and he (a dual Medicare/Medicaid plan holder) said that certain rules of insurance are restrictive/ affect coverage negatively. He said that certain benefits are only allowed only after you’ve been on your plan for some period of time. Does anyone know what he’s talking about? Like maybe is he referring to just the length of time it takes to get set up with / start benefiting from a government paid plan? or something more specific?
Thanks!
