My husband needed therapy after his stoke. I have been getting a bill from the facility that says insurance was denied, and my other insurance was refunded, so primary denied the claim and the secondary got its payment returned. I contacted my primary insurance company and was told that my husband had valid insurance at the time of the visits, but the facility waited too long to bill the insurance company so they denied the claim, and now the facility is trying to get me to pay for the covered treatment.
Also, this facility is in network, and other bills were paid by insurance.
TL:DR My health insurance company denied a claim because the facility took too long to bill them, now the facility wants me to pay.
