I’m hoping to get a specific dietitian covered under a new insurance plan. They told me she is out of network, but I could potentially still get coverage if I have been under her care, with a prior authorization. I doubt medicaid covers any out of network providers. If I’m wrong, do I have any chance of coverage?
I currently have Neighborhood Health Plan of RI under medicaid. I briefly have the option to switch to a United or Tufts plan also under medicaid. Tufts RI Together is the plan I called.
