Hello everyone, I am a college student in TX and I need help finding insurance. I am uninsured and my OB/GYN needs to remove a cyst from my ovary and fluid from my abdomen. It is supposed to be an outpatient surgery, but the estimate is nearly $20,000 for the hospital/dr charges. My doctor does not accept “marketplace insurance” which includes ObamaCare.
Is there a way I’d be able to get insurance within the next month before my surgery? If so, could you please comment which companies and plans. I can sign up for an individual insurance plan as that will be much cheaper, but I am clueless about insurance, any information would be helpful. Thank you all 🙂
