My new employer is offering me Aetna HMO or Kaiser HMO. Which would you choose?

I’m looking at the buy-up plans for both. I usually go to the doctors 2-4 times per year, I have been hospitalized once (not for a chronic issue). I don’t feel like I need a ton of care, but I want the peace of mind of knowing my emergency room visit/hospital stay will cost me a set amount instead of 30%. I have asthma and hypertension and am morbidly obese (losing weight though).

I’ve compared the plans, and they’re virtually the same in every way except Aetna is half the cost ($50 vs $100 for Kaiser per paycheck).

The question is which should I choose? Does anyone have experience with both? If so, do you think Kaiser is worth double?
