I have BCBS and I have myself, wife and daughter on it. I pay around $350/month (about $175 a paycheck). My copayment is $35. Looking at the BCBS it says my individual deductible is $4000 and family deductible is $8000. Talking about insurance with two of my coworkers they say that is outrageous and theirs is not like that. I was offered two plans a “high deductible” and “low deductible” and I cannt remember or if it was even stated when signing up what the deductibles were. I just remember the payment per paycheck for the low was something like $250 for my family.
