So I am on Medicaid in MN where I am getting a shoulder surgery done which looks like it will be approved, but I am temporarily located in WI for an internship. I am still a MN resident, but for the months following my surgery I will be in WI.
My coverage is in MN so I have to go there for the surgery which is fine, but it will require up to 6 months of PT and I’m wondering how hard will it be to get a prior auth approved for my insurance to allow me to complete and pay for my PT in Wisconsin.
Anyone have any insight about this?
