What’s the fastest I can get ACA coverage if I move to a new state, and already have an ACA plan in the old state?

I’m finding conflicting information online. I have an ACA plan now. The healthcare.gov help site says if you move, to notify them asap to avoid a lapse in coverage. But is it even possible to avoid a coverage lapse?

The gov site also says you can’t apply for a new plan until after you move. Then it also says that for a special enrollment period for a life event (moving), you aren’t covered until the 1st of the next month if applying before the 15th, or otherwise the 1st day of the 2nd month out.

So, is there not actually a way to avoid a lapse in coverage regardless of notifying them asap of a move? Since I just moved, it seems I may be stuck for 5 weeks of no coverage now even if I notify them and apply for a new plan immediately. I need continuous coverage now. Any solution here?
