I was talking to this guy who had a herniated disk and had recently undergone surgery for it. He had explained he had paid $0 of his own money for the surgery due to his health insurance and I was obviously intrigued. I was unable to get a hold of him, so I was just hoping to see if any knowledgeable person’s out there that could help me navigate this complicated world of health insurances please? To add more context, my company is offering health insurance at the moment. The problem is that I don’t understand half the jargon/benefits that are on it or if I could even get that sweet deal that the other guy got for his surgery. Thanks!
