I recently moved to Colorado and don’t quality under my out of state parent’s insurance. I only work part time and don’t meet the minimum hours required either, and I’m not currently attending college. I researched into Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program) for the cheapest insurance and I don’t meet the minimum $1500 in monthly wages to qualify so I decided I wouldn’t even bother submitting an application if I don’t meet those numbers. I feel totally stuck! I’m emotional thinking about my only option being to pay $300 every month for insurance alone. I won’t do that, my car insurance is that much already for being a young driver. I don’t know how to do this.
Income per month: around $900 Zip code: 80528
