I’m overwhelmed with all these options for health insurance. Federal employee who has narrowed it down to Blue Cross and Blue Shield Service Benefit Plan (Basic) vs Aetna Open Access (Basic). Family (with 2 kids) generally healthy. I’ve had Aetna Open Access (Basic) ever since I’ve been a fed. I’ve heard BCBS Basic is very popular. Can someone breakdown the major differences? They appear to be pretty similar, but I also don’t understand a lot of about health insurance. Your experience with any of the BCBS plans?
