Is there any way I can change insurances at this point? (Michigan)

Hi I’m an idio- I mean, new adult, yeah, that. I was thinking my insurance (Molina Medicaid) was going to “expire” at the end of November (the letter I received when I first got the insurance said it would) and so my plan was to wait for that, then use that to just pick up with a new insurance so I wasn’t paying for an insurance while I had another insurance as I’m on a budget. Well, I called today and apparently I don’t have a term date for my insurance, it’s still active. Well I’m sorry to say it’s been so hard to meet my medical needs (mainly therapy) with this health care, along with being billed for visiting a specialist once, I’d prefer to look into other plans in Blue Cross. However, since open enrollment ended, I can’t get into my school’s Blue Cross insurance unless I have a qualifying life event. So yeah, I’m an idiot. Ia there a way I can still go to a different insurance that is not crazy expensive? (I was looking at 161 a month with my school, kind of tight, but doable). Thank you in advance.
