Please Help Me Understand Some Things Before I enroll.

TLDR at bottom I got a basic plan (company never heard of) low deductible and out of pocket and after that was met which was soon BUT I mean almost no one accepts that insurance.

So should I get expensive blue cross and pay high premium. Coininsurance is 5% which I’m guessing if I had a $1000 medical bill I’d have to pay $50? And I think that’s even after deductible and out pocket are met.

Basically I’m a guy with mental health issues and drs and appts and rx meds

Also a guy whose health took a gigantic turn when I almost died from having 2 pulmonary embolisms biggest one on my heart along with 4 other blood clots in my lungs and one in leg. So I have to be on really expensive medicine for that

I’m willing to pay the money considering I’m still getting reminded how lucky I am that I survived and my hematologist straight up said the majority of the reason I survived is because I’m young (which maybe to them but 31) but still enough to scare you

TLDR what plan should I look to enroll in if have around 8 prescriptions see 5 different doctors including specialist.
