I have resigned from my job and intend to take cobra. my company is notoriously bad at anything HR related and have already given an incorrect mailing address to the cobra management firm. I am concerned that something may happen (I know they have legal obligations but really are awful ad administrative tasks) and it’ll be a sh*t show. I’m worried that something could happen while I sort it out. Is it worth it to get gap insurance to cover the time while I’m waiting for the cobra paperwork to finalize? I’m really unsure what to do so any advice is appreciated. thanks!!
