Quitting job 2 days after open enrollment ends for marketplace insurance. Advice needed

Hello! This is my first post to reddit so my apologies in advance. I have always had coverage through an employer, I am voluntarily leaving my job on Dec. 17, two days after open enrollment ends and plan on living off my savings and spending time with family I never see. I want to keep health insurance and see if I can get more affordable coverage then COBRA. I dont currently qualify for any reduced prices through the marketplace and just looking for advice. If I sign up for open enrollment before dec. 15th will I pay full price, if I sign up on dec. 18 in a special enrollment period is the cost of marketplace insurance likely to be reduced for me since I will technically not have an income on that day for a few months? If I get a job in 3 or 4 months will they adjust my marketplace insurance back to full price or will it effect my taxes? Thank you for any info and advice!
