(mods please delete if not appropriate) I’m a healthcare policy advocate and I’m looking for some stories to help make sure that people aren’t denied healthcare coverage based on their pre-existing conditions. We (a large patient advocacy non-profit) are currently trying to strengthen federal legislation to crack down on deceptive insurance plans that can deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions.
If you or someone you know has:
· had an insurance claim denied based on a pre-existing condition, OR
· had a healthcare plan with no out-of-pocket maximum, OR
· had a healthcare plan cap their coverage at an annual or lifetime dollar amount…
