Today was the last day for open enrollment for health insurance for 2022. I have only had health insurance maybe 1 year of my adult life and Im turning 29 in April. I went to the State healthcare . org site and was met with a timer that read 1 day until enrollment closes. So i entered my information and as i tried to contact the Insurance Provider, Blue Anthem, I was met with a second call, I put the first call on hold and accepted the second call. Immediately was someone offering assistance in enrollment and I talked to him for about 15 mins as we went through all of my information. I had a bad feeling about giving payment information becuase he called me, even though i only entered in my phone number to a government website. I began to explain why I wanted to “shop” around more before i went through with his offer and he got frustrated and stern explaining that, “he has no financial benefit from signing me up and he can see all my offers and is helping me choose the best offer given that this is the last 24 hours for open enrollment in health insurance”. I still was hesitant but i understood his point that i waited till the last day to enroll. So i went with his offer, gave my information, and have received like 10-15 calls from other agencies offering help in the last hour. I dont know what Im doing, I dont know if I was scammed, I don’t know who to contact for assisstance. The company I was emailed by for my Insurnace Information was Premier Health Solutions. Is this normal, a majority of the agencies calling are labeled “scam likely” on my smartphone. https://imgur.com/a/zQGd5Hn
