Hello!
I had a surgery scheduled for this Friday many weeks ago. Though it was approved by my insurance, I still had to pay a $2000 deposit to cover the post op that wasn’t covered by my insurance.
Now, two days before the surgery, the provider says they are no longer available. They want to schedule it after december, but I’m on a new health insurance plan then which doesn’t cover the surgery. I asked to see their cancellation policy, but they said they don’t do that, and they don’t allow deposit refunds if they’re offering an alternative date.
If I did it in January, it would end up costing $13,000 – money I and most people don’t have.
Any advice out there?
