Hi! I’m currently living in NC, 27 years old, but moving to CO (zip code will be 80920) at the beginning of January. I’ve never had to navigate the marketplace, but since I’m leaving a full time job and potentially looking for part time, I’ll need benefits. I can use COBRA, but I don’t know anything about it. How long am I able to use it? If I start it in January, will I be able to get enrolled for another plan whenever COBRA ends? I just realized there is an enrollment “deadline” to be covered by Jan 1, 2022…. But if I’m using COBRA what if I don’t need coverage until later in the year? Sorry I’m so uneducated about this subject and have no clue where to go from here.
