I looked through plans on coveredca.com and the least coverage starts at around $900/mo. That’s A LOT. Is there a cheaper option I am missing? I don’t plan to work so an employer group plan is not an option, and my household income (moved in with son who works) is well over $100k. Considering I need to be insured in CA, it feels I am being forced to pay $12k per year for mediocre coverage.
New to the American health insurance system, but I feel I have read enough to understand most of the basic terms around copay, deductibles etc.
