If My Source of Income is Gone, But I Have Savings, Can I Still Apply for Medi-Cal?

I’m in California and currently run an online business but due to supply complications I will have to end my online business. This means I will not have a source of income once my inventory is out of stock. I expect to be out of stock by February of 2022. I am fortunate to have saved up a hefty amount in my savings so I have funds to rely on while I pivot toward starting another business. I doubt my next business venture will be profitable within its first year. I am just wondering if having a specific amount in savings disqualifies me from being eligible for medi-cal/medicare? When I try to google medi-cal requirements I see one of the main criteria being having an income below “federal poverty level.” So if I have more in savings than the federal poverty level but am expecting no income for the year of 2022, can I be apply for medi-cal?
