Here’s the plan I will in 2022: https://www.anthem.com/docs/public/inline/PERS_Platinum_2022SOB.pdf
I see a mental health therapist that is out of network. Currently, the plan pays for 60% of the allowed rate for the service. I have met my deductible due to some health issues I had earlier in 2021. When 2022 starts, will I need to meet my $500 deductible in order for the 60% coverage on the therapist bills to kick in? Or, are those therapist bills always covered at 60% (40% co-insurance) whether I’ve hit my deductible or not?
