I’m so confused
I’m offered insurance through my employer. For myself only I meet the 9% threshold because my employer contributes however my family doesn’t because there’s is no employer contribution. I just spoke to my broker and healthcare.gov together on a 3way call to do my application and they said I qualify for tax credits because my family is higher than 9% but my understanding is that it’s not correct. This is a 1500 vs 400 insurance cost for me for family. Do I just go with it since they both said it was correct and it’s been submitted or will I get majorly dinged later?
