Do healthcare plans consider if you are a college student as a factor?

Was unemployed during COVID, so I was able to qualify for Medicaid.

I have gone back to college and got a job part-time to help pay for tuition. Unfortunately, in VA where I live, you are eligible up to 133% of the FPL, which is around $17k. I’ve calculated my approximate annual pay for my part-time job to be around $19k, which would make me ineligible. Right now b/c of COVID, Va has suspended the mandatory annual renewals, so I’m good until Va decides to end that suspension.

When I do lose Medicaid coverage, I will be looking at Obamacare/healthcare.gov (I know my school offers student insurance but outside of emergencies they aren’t very good). The thing is b/c college tuition takes such a large chunk of my paycheck, I am wondering if any of the plans on healthcare.gov take into account that I am also a college student and so therefore they would reduce the monthly bill that I have to pay?

Thank you.
