Went to the ER and received two different bills.

I’m not sure if I’m going to explain this correctly, but I’ll try. I went to the ER last month and was seen by 3 doctors and a PA. The 3 doctors submitted claims to my insurance company. I got a bill from the hospital and everything looked good. The itemized list of services provided matched up with what was submitted to my insurance company. I also got a bill from the PA that saw me. There’s no record of her submitting a claim to my insurance company and she’s charging me almost $1,200. The whole bill from the ER visit is $1,300 after the 3 doctors submitted their claim and after insurance picked up their part. The bill I got from the PA has a blank spot under “What Insurance will Pay” box. Under that spot, it says insurance transfer of $1,200 and payment of $1,200 is due upon receipt. Does this make sense?
