Question regarding meeting a deductible, approved surgery, and the effects of a surgery date postponement.

My fiance is getting an elective surgery this coming Thursday which will be postponed if she contracts Covid. We’ve just found out that we might have been exposed to it last night.

Her surgery has been approved by her insurance, she has a surgery date (the 30th), she’s met her deductible, and has received an estimated bill with her copay and max remaining out of pocket being all she will have to pay.

If her surgery is postponed to next year, will that mean that she will have no longer met her deductible and will have to pay more, or does that not matter since her insurance has already approved it?

Edit: She’s 28 and our zip code is 37221
