I got really good (and expensive) coverage starting on January 1st. I had some concern that I chose a plan that covered too much and I wouldn’t need it, and then I realized that crazy things happen to normal people that can change your life!!
Anyways, it’s December 26th just days before my policy starts and I’m barely able to walk because my entire leg twisted when I fell ice skating…. So a crazy thing happened AND I STILL DONT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE YET. Gotta love American health care
