My mother is a doctor and said that certain drug history that you put under insurance can be used against you at a later date
There’s no way to prove that’s the rationale your premium went up and the insurance company will deny it
Ex: Antidepressants- your insurance company will determine you are a suicide risk and raise your premiums
Epi pens- your insurance company will decide you are at risk of anaphylaxis and raise your premium
Naloxone- your insurance company will decide you are at risk of opioid addiction or overdose and raise your premium
My Mom has advised me to never buy these drugs under insurance and it’s incredibly expensive- what’s the point of paying $1000s of my paycheck toward insurance and then having to buy drugs at market cost anyway (all three are incredibly pricey without insurance!!)
