As you can tell from the title, I’m an international student in the U.S. I’ve been in the US for a few years now but have always avoided going to the doctor in the States seeing all the posts about the exorbitant costs of healthcare here. Because of Covid, I can’t go back home and visit my doctor at home. So I have a few questions about dental/doctor visit here.
How can I figure out whether the health facility is in-network? Can I know how much the visit and procedures would cost upfront? I do have health and dental insurance. Do I pay the cost of the visit/procedures the day of the visit? If so, would I be paying the amount after insurance?
