None of the insurance options in the PA marketplace seem to cover the out of state specialist I need to see, unless I’m missing something (he is Dr. Bo Shen out of NY Presby).
Would my best bet be to move to NY and get in-state insurance there or is there something else I could get to cover visits and procedures with him? The exploratory endoscopy alone is $25k out of pocket, I’m sure any sort of corrective surgery/surgeries will be 6 figures.
