Corresponding with a surgeon who’s saying that whatever I pay using my FSA wouldn’t count towards my deductible. e.g. the surgery costs $5k, i have $2k on my FSA that I’d pay with and the other $3k i’d cover but only $3k would count towards my deductible. I would assume that FSA funds are still out of pocket too. What am I not getting?
