So to try to be brief, my employer informed me that I would lose coverage at the end of December and should have received information from BCBS regarding COBRA. Of course I haven’t received anything yet.
Anyway, I had a prescription for my autoimmune disease that I tried to fill 2 weeks ago and there was a hang up with that. It was resolved today after about 8 phone calls, but of course the pharmacy has now closed because it’s New Year’s Eve.
Assuming this prescription will be ready Sunday, January 2 at the earliest, will that be filed under my insurance..? I’d hope so since the doctor sent it in this evening, 12/31, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t. That just seems to be my luck.
