Privacy concern re: Medicaid while insured by mom

I am 25 and was recently approved for Medicaid. I am also covered by my mom’s insurance which I lose at the end of May.

I know that Medicaid is supposed to function as the secondary insurer but I have a very difficult relationship with my mom and do not want my mom knowing what doctors I am seeing and what medications I get prescribed, particularly since I would like to start HRT and I don’t particularly want to deal with my mom’s reaction. I would ideally like to only use Medicaid but I don’t see how this is possible if they’re supposed to work as the secondary insurer.

When I called my mom’s insurance to say that I wanted to make it so things would go to me and my mom would not be able to see my medical care, they told me there was no way to prevent her from seeing it since it will show up on the online portal (which is true because I’ve since gained access to the online portal myself) so asking them to just send the EOB to me won’t work. All of the names of all the doctors and all the medicines everyone in the family is seeing/taking is available. They also told me there is no way for me to remove myself on my own.

My mom’s insurance provider is in Mississippi and I’m in Virginia so everything is out of network anyway though I do have out of network benefits. My mom’s insurance did tell me though that they don’t coordinate benefits with Medicaid so I’m not sure what that means especially since everywhere online says they’re required to. They explained it that if I use Medicaid first then Medicaid can’t go after them for money but that I could use them first and then Medicaid second.

I’m having a hard time figuring this out so any guidance would be appreciated thank you! I really just wanna be able to use my health insurance without my mom being able to see what I do and I don’t care how that gets accomplished as long as it won’t get me in trouble with insurance.
