I wanna get this surgery for my bad acid relfux but its not done by the NHS and only done privately. The link above states that it can be done using health insurance.
In the UK not many people have insurance as the health system is free, so if I were to get the insurance, have that assist in the costs of the surgery, then cancel insurance, would that be something that is a plausible idea?
I may sound very naive but I’ve never worked with health insurance before and have no idea how it works.
