I recently applied to renew healthcare coverage through NY State of Health. Previously I was on a Medicaid Managed Plan with Fidelis. Although I no longer qualify for Medicaid, my coverage was extended due to the pandemic according to the NYSoH website. Whatever, I’ll take it.
So I went through the whole process and chose my plan, which was pretty much the same as the old one, and took effect on 12/31/21. Only problem is I went to the dentist today, and they said I had no coverage. Checked Fideliscare.org, I can clearly log in, it lists my PCP and says “No eligibility for the selected date.”
So am I covered or not?
