HMO vs ACO

I know this has been discussed a few times here, but I still dont have a clear understanding of the difference between ACO and HMO. Through my job I am choosing between Blue Shield CA options of ACO 25 and HMO 30. The HMO option is somewhat more expensive, but the coverage costs seem very close to ACO. What am I getting for the higher price of HMO here?
