I live in Michigan, close to the Indiana border and was referred to a mental health counselor by a friend. This counselor is across the border in Indiana. I am about to sign up for health insurance in order to mitigate some of the costs of these visits, but the question is, will most health insurance providers allow me to use my insurance across the state border?
