If baby is born mid month, do I get billed for the whole month or prorated?
I currently have health insurance through my employer 100% paid for. I would be responsible for my baby’s premium 100% after she is born. My question is say I give birth May 15 and add my newborn on June 2nd. I’m assuming my June paycheck (I get paid monthly) will include the baby premium.
Will it be 2 months premium (May & June) or a prorated 1.5 months premium (May 15 – June)?
