My family is moving from one state to another state next month in Feb. We currently have insurance through employer. When we move mid Fed we will lose our current insurance and need to buy insurance in another state. What is the recommended approach for getting insurance. Should we move there and then apply for insurance as we may not qualify for any subsidies and just need to pay the premium for the health insurance policy. Or should I apply for Health Insurance in the other state right now so that the plan is active starting Feb 1st?
