The health care system in America is so absurd I don’t even know where to begin. First thoughts is how is this even legal and they aren’t being class actioned for scamming? Pay 10k a year just to have to pay 50% then!! What are they for!! I mean Jesus if I’m not dying I’m being screwed utterly. Last year in the us. Covid is making it harder to move at the moment. But I swear to god as soon as I can I’m done with America. Went without insurance since I was 18. I get a 1099 for my job so no insurance through a employer. So I never bothered with it because I was young and dumb. Or was I dumb? Haven’t been to the doctor since then so I guess I’ve saved about 50k on not participating this long. But now that I’m focusing on my health and my future…. America is not the place for me never liked being openly screwed and this is terribly wrong. Majority can probably be contributed to price gouging anything medical. That and for profit health care. Absurd had to get this off my chest after I’ve finally taken the time to look into insurance and my jaw hasn’t came off the floor. How is this even remotely allowed…. Oh wait… it’s ‘merica…..
