I quit my job in December and HR had said my health insurance would terminate the same day of resignation. Well it’s January now and my health insurance coverage is still active. I even contacted the insurance company to make sure. What should I do? Should I keep trying to use it until one day my old employer figures out the mistake? I have an injection scheduled this month using this insurance with preauthorization, but I don’t know if this will somehow backfire and I end up paying out of pocket.
