Any suggestions to navigate the Virginia worlds of medical insurance would be so very much appreciated!

Long story short, I ended up in the ICU for taking expired Tylenol PM over an extended period of time(it caused acute liver and kidney failure). I spent over a month in the hospital and acquired a blood caught, received dialysis, and many other medications/ treatments. My hospital bills are over $200,000 and my blood thinner is $500 for every refill. Which is once a month. I lost my job when covid hit and as a result lost my insurance. Then, I got denied Medicaid because I made “too much money on unemployment.”I started working again hoping I would eventually receive insurance but then I got sick and now I can’t work. have about enough for half a prescription left to my name and I am having a really hard time with resources. My Medicaid application has been pending for the last month as well.

If anybody has any suggestions I would happily follow through with them. I am scared and broke and so sad what an atrocity the American medical system can be. No suggestion is a bad suggestion!
