Medical necessity denial

Anyone here have experience regarding filing an appeal with a state funded medical insurance plan based on a denial of services due to the provider indicating it was no longer a “medical necessity”?

If so, could you please message me? I can get into the specifics of the situation there, but I’m hitting a lot of dead zones just trying to get information from people, and all I am trying to do is to keep the continuity of care going until I’m able to find a different provider, which is proving to be quite difficult in the behavioral health field right now.
