My insurance has great out-of-network benefits but does not cover out-of-network IVs/infusions. Yet, there are no in-network facilities that offer this medication through an IV. Is there a certain appeal I can make? Is there any way around it, like gap of coverage, compassionate care, coverage inadequacy, etc? If so, how would I best appeal it? Or is this a hard no? Thanks!
